mozambique sauce

 

ingredients

3/4 cup chopped garlic

1 1/2 cup lemon juice

1 quart light beer

1 lb butter

4 oz cooking oil

2 cup gonsalves sauce

6 sazon packages

 

servings = 2.5 quart

 

directions

In a small sauce pot, heat oil over medium heat.  Add garlic and sauté until golden brown.
Melt butter and reserve at room temperature.  Deglaze pan with beer, hot sauce, sazon and lemon juice. 
Bring to a boil for 2 minutes and remove from fire.  Let cool  Once cooled, slowly mix in melted butter.
